Picturing Penrith Is Back!

 

Our ever popular competition is returning as part of the May Day celebrations on Monday 5th May 2025.

Artists are invited to produce an artwork depicting Penrith in a day, in any medium (except photography) in 2D or 3D.

All work must be produced within a 3 mile radius of the clock tower. 

To enter - visit the EVAN Gallery between 9am and 11am to register and pay your £10 entry fee.

Anyone 18 or over may enter and you do not have to be an EVAN member to take part.

You will need to provide your own materials.

Head out to your chosen place to create your artwork. It's ok to be indoors if the weather is unforgiving.

The finished artwork must be delivered to the EVAN Gallery by 3pm the same day.

You may frame your work should you wish but this is not strictly necessary.

The entries will be displayed in the EVAN Gallery. The general public will be asked to vote for their favourite piece and the winner will receive £100 cash prize.
