Picturing Penrith Is Back!
Our ever popular competition took place as part of the May Day celebrations on Monday 5th May 2025.
Artists were invited to produce an artwork depicting Penrith in any medium, in a day.
The entries are currently on display in the EVAN Gallery, Penrith. Vote for your favourite piece at the EVAN Gallery or on-line by sending your vote via the button below. Voting closes 4pm on Monday 12th May. Click on the images to enlarge.
The winning artist will receive £100 cash prize. For this year´s Picturing Penrith (Paint Penrith in a Day) competition we are delighted to also have gift card donations from three local businesses for three of the runners up. A big shout out of thank you for their support of both the local community and the arts goes to: the great pub the Fell Bar, the amazing restaurant The Magic Bean Food by Les and the gold star social media skills of Littlemissocialmedia
