The Picturing Penrith competition 2020 was a great success, despite the current covid-19 situation, with some 20 artists taking up the challenge to create a unique piece of artwork in one day. An exhibition of the work created in the competition was hosted at the EVAN Gallery and on-line. This year was a little different without the support and prizes sponsored by local businesses and all prizes were kindly were sponsored by EVAN itself. Another difference this year was the judging - there were prizes on offer for three categories and the winners of each category were chosen by the public with an on-line vote and a Gallery visitors vote. Well done to all those who took part.
