Welcome to the June edition of the EVAN newsletter…

A place where art is created, Eden Valley Artistic Network - bringing people together.

In March the pandemic struck, and so the open exhibition, open studios, and the art trail were all cancelled and the Gallery closed.   But art and creativity have not ceased. So ‘Virtually EVAN’ was created as an online exhibition space.  Simon Whalley has been working with Eden District council to produce ‘Create to Connect’  which aims to  encourage creativity, share what people do, connect and re-energise Eden.  EVAN has also embraced Calms  ‘Wheel of Wellness’ a means of staying well whilst staying at home. As ever you can connect to Eden Valley Artistic Network on Instagram  on  Facebook  and on Twitter

EVAN Gallery and Studios

The EVAN Gallery and Studios are finally now open again and welcoming back customers.  We have made a number of changes to keep everyone safe. While in the Gallery, customers are asked to keep a safe distance from others and are asked not to handle items unless purchasing. Hand sanitiser, gloves and wipes are provided and thorough cleaning and safe operating procedures are in place.

We will be open afternoons only between 2pm and 5pm, Tuesday to Saturday. (times may vary due to volunteer staffing). Other times may be available by appointment. Tel. 017684 28627.

The Gallery displays original artworks by local artists, including paintings, drawings, sculptures, ceramics, jewellery and textiles. You will also find a range of prints and a large selection of greetings cards, note books and gift ideas on offer. The Gallery houses the work of approximately 45 of our member artists and includes 5 working studios where you can see artists at work and additional artwork for sale.
